Say hello to Philip
Hi Iām Philip, the Club Kit Co-Ordinator - I do my best to get our people in our jersey to make sure we look great on the road.
I took up cycling after hanging up my rugby boots at the age of forty and immediately wished I had started earlier. I started with road cycling but then embraced gravel and Mtb - I love each equally.
Keeping less than ten bikes is not everyones principal concern in life but something I struggle with!
Challenged by gravity, I am not built for climbing and being partial to cake doesn't help. Ironically my bucket list contains the most iconic climbs in the world. I have been fortunate enough to have completed most of the Tour De France Climbs and climbed the mighty Mount Evans at over 14,000 feet in Colorado, US.
My cycling highlights have been cycling from London to Paris in under 24hrs and cycling from Nachez (Mississippi) to Nashville (Tennessee)
I love exploring new areas and hope to help the club to arrange new adventures.
I joined the Rouleurs after being disappointed by the inclusivity of my previous club. This has has been in complete contrast to the Rouleurs who offer so much to everyone and set a great example for the city.
I love arriving at Cycle Heaven on Sunday mornings and to see the full spectrum of Society, all smiling with a collective purpose - Rouleurs Riding Together
